TIger/Grizz Invitational

The Tiger/Griz Invitational was held this week in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  Another popular race with 28 teams from Utah, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho in attendance.  This is course is relativity flat with small rolling hills and one water crossing.  Raegan ran another 21:50.  This is the third week in a row where she has run almost identical times (she is consistent!).  Raegan has some personal goals in mind and is not completely satisfied with her results.  She finished 23rd (110 participants) in the "Varsity A" race just thee spots from the medal platform.

Coach Gulden giving some last minute advice to his girls.

Always ends with a handshake and a good luck..........
Just about every picture I have of Raegan at the line has this same look of "I'm going to be sick"........

The line at the Tiger/Grizz

The first 100m

Lots of traffic and a thundering heard of runners makes for a lot of excitement at the beginning of every race.

Raegan negotiates some traffic.

A large heard of girls....  Where is Raegan?

Found her!  Can you?

Raegan at the water crossing.  Just when I was about to snap a picture, someone stuck there arm out &$^&#*$

2000m down, 3000m to go,  looking good.

Up the hill for the 4th time in the last 400m.  Legs are burning!

Still looking strong.

About 1600m to go.  Marilyn cheering on Raegan....  (sunglasses on the left)

Holding strong.

100m to go.

100m to go with four girls chasing her down.

Lots of yelling a screaming as the runners head down the shoot.

30m to go. .............

The girl from Teton is giving it one last push.

Giving it the all.....

Hangs on!  Raegan has really worked hard on her kick.  Two years ago, all four girls would have passed her.  Nice job Raegan.

Found a better place to a catch the boys at the water.  Brian Grigg goes all in!

Lots more smiles when its all over!!!
The girls team tied with Idaho Falls for 2nd place (given 3rd place based on our 6th runner). Our boys finished 4th. This week both the boys and girls are ranked as "bubble teams" to finish in the top 6 at the state level.  Presli Hutchison , DeSeanna Kilgore, Kaden Clay and D'Artagnan  Kilgore are ranked top 20 in the state 5A Rankings.
