Magic Valley Air Show

This year we had a nice "double".....   Both the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels performed at Air Shows near our hometown.  The Thunderbirds in May at the Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah and the Blue Angels at the Magic Valley Airshow in Twin Falls, Idaho.  The real nice thing about the Magic Valley Airshow is they usually have a pretty small crowd associated with them.  Its like having your own personal Blue Angel show!  While an airshow at Hill AFB can draw 150,000, the show at Twin Falls may draw less than 10,000.

We were treated to a great show by the Blue Angels with some warm up acts by Tim Weber and the Geico Extra 300s, Kent Peitsch performing a stick acrobatic routine (engine off) in his 1943 Interstate Cadet. Sponsored by Jelly Belly, the U.S. Army Golden Knight Jump Team, Matt Younkin and his Twin Beech 18 "Magic by Moonlight", and the  Jet N Thunder rocket car.

Marilyn and Kennedy along with our good friends the Roscher's attended the airshow and "roasted".....
